About the Course
The term CLIL was coined by David Marsh, University of Jyväskylä, Finland (1994): "CLIL refers to situations where subjects, or parts of subjects, are taught through a foreign language with dual-focused aims, namely the learning of content and the simultaneous learning of a foreign language."
CLIL stands for Content and Language Integrated Learning. This means teaching another subject (for example, science, history, or literature) and a foreign language, such as English, at the same time — incorporating the two subjects.
The purpose of this course is gaining the knowledge of the principles of CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning) and practical ways of integrating CLIL into an educational environment.
ERASMUS opens a window of opportunities for students, teachers and school administrators. Through Erasmus grants schools can further expand the knowledge of their academic staff and embark on new opportunities for their students to experience what Europe is all about, sharing, exchanging of good practices, learning on new methodologies, internship opportunities, job shadowing and understanding other cultures.
Through this course we shall go through all the steps of how to apply for grants, coming up with a concept project, identifying your needs and how to develop a project.
It will also guide you on project management, the dos and don’ts in project application, development, and management of ERASMUS projects.
